Jaguars’ Josh Scobee and wife Melissa will be hosting “A Night with Nemours,” on October 21st at EverBank Field to benefit children with asthma. Duval County in Florida has had the highest number of pediatric deaths due to asthma in the last three years. Pediatric Pulmonologist Dr. Jason Lang had this to say, “Nemours is a true leader in asthma research. People who join us at ‘A Night with Nemours’ later this month can feel proud that they will be helping fund additional asthma research and community outreach programs.”
This past Friday, Scobee also took part in an event to teach five special children from the Nemours Children’s Clinic Asthma Center how to kick field goals. Scobee said, “By spending time on the field with these kids, it was clear that you can kick asthma with the right treatment. I’m honored to help Nemours raise funds to benefit kids in this community with asthma.”
