Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Foundation holds annual charity event

MANHATTAN, N.Y. — The seventh annual Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Foundation charity event was recently held in Manhattan to raise money and provide emotional support for families of children with cancer. The foundation was started to honor the memory of the late Jay McGillis, the Boston College safety from Tom Coughlin’s coaching days, who was later with the Eagles in the early 1990’s. McGillis, a favorite of Coughlin’s, struggled and lost his battle to leukemia. This year’s event was in honor of Steve Sabol, long time NFL films director, for his contributions to society and support of charities.
